What are the High Sheriff Young Engineer Awards?

The High Sheriff Young Engineer Awards 2026 recognise the innovation, creativity, and technical ability of Oxfordshire’s young people. Run in association with The Engineering Trust and supported by local partners, these awards celebrate students who show promise in engineering, science, and problem-solving.

Why Should Schools Get Involved?

By nominating students, schools not only celebrate academic and technical excellence but also help pupils:

Who Can Apply?

The awards are open exclusively to Oxfordshire state schools.

Teachers can nominate individual students or teams using the nomination form.
The deadline for entries is 2nd April 2026.
Each school can submit up to five entries per category.
