Vacancy - Apprentice General Operator

At Ultraseal Slough we seal porosity and leak paths for cast and additive manufactured components using the ultimate blend of Ultraseal sealants and vacuum impregnation technology and we are looking to recruit apprentices in Slough.

The Apprentice General Operator will be trained in the following areas:

  • Fluoro-Polymer Coating
  • Pressure Testing
  • Plating

Requirements and prospects

Desired skills

Good communication skills, practical, prepared to operate plant and equipment in line with Company procedures and safe working practices, logical thinker, able to use own initiative.  Good organisation skills.

Personal qualities

Reliable, enthusiastic and a team player, who stays focused and uses time effectively.  Will happily go the extra mile.

Desired qualifications

A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications) at grade 5 and above including English, Science and Maths.

Future prospects

Opportunities to progress to a supervisory or management level. Ultraseal is part of the Norman Hay group with potential opportunities globally in our overseas operations

Things to consider

May be required to work overtime at short notice.
