As a leading manufacturer of electrical insulation materials, composites and parts, Krempel is a system partner for customers in the energy, mobility and industry segments. The Krempel group of companies is represented by 14 locations across four continents, with more than 1,400 employees worldwide.

Bideford Site: Founded in 1929 and operated as Anglo-American Vulcanized Fibre Ltd until 2021, the company became part of the Krempel Group in 2000. The Bideford site has a production area of approx. 5,000 m2 and a team of 120 employees. We are a world-class supplier of composites and polymer products and operate in aerospace, defence, medical, automotive and industrial sectors across the globe.

We will also be celebrating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science during the evening. You’ll have the chance to meet Ellie and Siobhan and learn more about their individual journeys.
Ellie completed an apprenticeship in Sales and is now working towards an HR qualification. 
Siobhan is now a Quality Lead for engineering apprenticeships.
