Cleenol manufactures and distributes an extensive range of cleaning and hygiene chemicals, throughout the UK and worldwide. These products are manufactured and bottled on site using a combination of electric and pneumatic machinery. The aim of the apprenticeship is to support the production equipment. The machinery you will be working with consists of air and electric pumps, electric motors, conveyors, pneumatic valves and pipework, steel and plastic pipework, and mixing tanks.
The specific tasks can be broken down as follows:
Cleenol is a relatively small company so the tasks for the maintenance team can be very varied. The primary role will be in production, however tasks could also include some fabrication (welding), building maintenance (unblocking drains), and changing the MD’s break pads!
40 hours, 8am-430pm daily, 30 minutes for lunch break.

A keen interest pursuing a career in engineering, alongside a commitment to continuously learn new skills.
There is an opportunity to learn a wide variety of tasks and grow into a useful member of the team. The job will suit a practical person, who is not afraid of getting stuck in and getting their hands dirty. Somebody who is curious about how machines work and more importantly, is willing to have a go at putting them back together again.
A minimum of five GCSE's (or equivalent qualifications) at grade C (Grade 5) and above including English, Science and Maths.
The maintenance team is small. Cleenol is currently growing. The opportunities for a proven maintenance person would be very good.
